Can the SBP-OFF-3K run a 1 hp (0.75 kW) AC submersible irrigation pump?
Yes. The 2× surge rating (6 kW for 5 seconds) covers the locked-rotor inrush of a 1 hp single-phase induction pump, which is typically 4-5× its rated power for 2-3 seconds. Wire the pump on the AC OUT terminal directly, set 'motor mode' = ON in the LCD menu, and the unit will ramp inverter frequency softly to limit starting current.What battery types are compatible with the 24 V bus on the SBP-OFF-3K?
Sealed lead-acid AGM, gel and flooded lead-acid up to 800 Ah at C20 are supported, with a 4-stage charge curve (bulk / absorption / float / equalize). 24 V LiFePO4 packs with internal BMS are also supported — set 'battery type' = LITHIUM and enter the absorption voltage from your pack datasheet (typical 28.8 V). Mixed chemistries on the same bus are not supported.Is the SBP-OFF-3K certified for African and Indonesian markets?
