Does the SBP-MC-40 fit 35 mm Trina and 40 mm JinkoSolar bifacial frames?
Yes. The 30-40 mm clamping range covers Trina Vertex 35 mm, JinkoSolar Tiger Neo 40 mm, JA Solar 30 mm, LONGi Hi-MO 35 mm and Risen Titan 40 mm. The serrated washer bites into the frame anodic layer to deliver the full 4500 N pull-out value across the entire range — no per-brand spacer kit is required.What torque value should the installer apply to the M8 bolt on the SBP-MC-40?
Tighten to 18 N·m using a calibrated 13 mm torque wrench. Below 14 N·m the clamp may walk loose under wind cycling; above 22 N·m the bolt yields plastically and the 4500 N pull-out value is no longer guaranteed. We recommend re-torquing once after the first 100 days of service per IEC 62548 commissioning practice.Is the SBP-MC-40 suitable for coastal Egypt, Oman and Indonesia projects?
Yes. The anodized aluminum body (15 µm anodic layer) and SS304 bolt have been salt-spray tested to 1000 h per ASTM B117 with no red rust. For sites within 500 m of seawater (e.g. Sohar port, Surabaya harbour, Alexandria), we still recommend our SS316 / A4-70 bolt upgrade option (SBP-BOLT-M10X40-A4 sibling SKU) at no MOQ change.
