How many SBP-EC-40 end clamps are needed for a 40-module row?
Always 2 per row — one at each end. For a 40-module row mounted on two parallel SBP-RAIL-4200 rails (top + bottom edge) you therefore need 4 × SBP-EC-40 plus 78 × SBP-MC-40 (39 gaps × 2 rails). Round up by 5 % spare in your bill of materials to cover commissioning losses.Will the SBP-EC-40 fit a 30 mm Trina Vertex or a 40 mm Jinko Tiger Neo frame?
Yes. The 30-40 mm clamping range covers Trina Vertex 35 mm, Jinko Tiger Neo 40 mm, LONGi Hi-MO 35 mm, JA Solar 30 mm and Risen Titan 40 mm. The same 18 N·m torque target applies; no per-brand spacer kit is needed because the asymmetric end-clamp profile self-adjusts within the range.Is the SBP-EC-40 compatible with other manufacturers' 40 mm T-slot rails?
The T-nut on the SBP-EC-40 is a 40 mm-wide M8 standard slot block, so it slides into any T-slot rail with a 12 × 22 mm channel — including SolarBoltPro SBP-RAIL-4200, K2 SingleRail, Schletter SOLO 50, and most generic Chinese 6005-T5 rails. Verify the channel dimensions on your rail datasheet before mixing brands.
